Each weekly edition of the newspaper will be created by both a collective of writers responsible for the front page and overall tone of the edition and contributing writers offering individual pieces. Edition 1 is written by Miriam Battye, Amir Gudarzi, Nazareth Hassan, Matilda Ibini, Sonia Jalaly, Jasmine Lee Jones, Suhaiymah Manzoor-Khan, Somalia Nonyé Seaton, Katherine Soper, Chris Thorpe, Temi Wilkey and Daniel York Loh.
It will be urgent, responsive and fast – with writers filing their pieces by Tuesday and actors performing from Thursday, script-in-hand, hot off the press. Each edition will include performances relating to the moment we are in with local and global perspectives, longer form pieces, dating columns, a cartoon of the week, the world in pictures, a weather room, agony aunts, horoscopes and much more.

Stories For A Long Winter
Created By Chris Bush, Rebecca Frecknall and The Company with Songs By Maimuna Memon
This is not a Corona play.
This is a play about connection and isolation, about lighting a candle to see us through the longest night, about what we hold on to when we cannot hold each other.
Almeida Associate Director Rebecca Frecknall (Summer and Smoke, The Duchess of Malfi), playwright Chris Bush (Standing at the Sky’s Edge, Pericles) and a company of six performers devise a new production reflecting on a year of separation and the power of contact.
